Applicate IT is an innovation and software development house founded in 2010 with its own offices in both Denmark and Asia, and employs a total of 20 full-time IT professionals covering the entire chain of competencies from ideation, design, development, quality assurance and delivery and operation of turnkey IT solutions.
We develop and deliver tailor-made software solutions that create value for both customers and partners, both in the private and public sector, including we also participate in research projects and business communities.
One of our strengths is our ability to combine many of the latest technologies into one IT solution without compromising usability and quality. We make a virtue out of researching and developing state of the art technology, and therefore we do not restrict ourselves in what we do.
Our solutions are generic and thought through to the last detail – usability has the highest priority and that is why we never work with standard solutions.

Our development process, which is illustrated below, covers all necessary phases of software development – from idea to turnkey. The complete package - from idea to turnkey
During the idea and UX design phase, we work in a superagile way with several iterations. We are more than happy to involve your users in the process, and the feedback they provide forms the basis for an intuitive and thereby effective software solution. In the next phase, we will uncover your specific needs and next create a detailed requirements specification as well as the documentation for the technical design. In this way, we create a solid basis for further development and estimation right from the beginning. This gives you peace of mind once our competent team of developers continuously builds and improves your new software solution. Here you will get a clear overview of the finances along with a final and reliable estimate for the overall project. Afterwards, our development team takes care of building and continuously improve your new software solution. During this phase, our project managers will be in ongoing dialogue with you about the process. In connection with the quality assurance, we provide thorough testing of the solution based on the requirements specification.

Do you want to be involved in running projects and business development as a project manager in a young company with other enthusiastic IT colleagues? - Then read on!
Applicate IT A / S is a Danish-owned internationally oriented company, which was founded in 2010. We have our head office in Silkeborg and our own development department in Hanoi. We are growing and therefore now need to supplement our project management team with a new energetic and ambitious IT project manager. You will gradually become our Project Lead on several projects and will act as a link between our own development team in Silkeborg / Hanoi and then our predominantly Danish customers, which range widely from entrepreneurs such as Workr.dk to larger established private companies such as Hempel A/S and also public institutions, including KOMBIT and Rigshospitalet.
You succeed in the job when you:
⚬ Identify and challenge customers' wishes and needs for solutions.
⚬ Have a broad IT technical understanding and can translate customers' wishes and needs into a system landscape.
⚬ Define the right system architecture in collaboration with our development team.
⚬ Break down the overall needs and desires into specific and functional system requirements.
⚬ Lead your project team with a focus on motivation and development.
⚬ Ensure that budgets are met and act in a proactive way accordingly.
⚬ Communicate effectively, both with internal and external stakeholders.
About you
You probably have a higher education behind you, e.g. cand.scient.it product development, cand.it, computer science or similar at minimum bachelor level. Whether you recently graduated or have several years of experience does not really matter, as long as you work dedicated, committed and with a willingness to constantly develop yourself in a continuously changing IT sector with an ongoing influx of new customers.
We expect you to be a strong communicator in Danish and English, both in writing and speach. You must also be able to see contextual interrelations, wholes and focus on the big picture. You will enter into a close and educational collaboration with the company's management.
